I was first introduced to Shaklee Corporation over 30 years ago as a teenager.  My mother was actually introduced first.  As a teenager, I thought she was crazy to think taking these "pills" (aka food supplements) would improve our health.  I also thought she was crazy to think using Shaklee cleaning products was any better than what we could get at the grocery store or discount store.

Boy, was I wrong!  I have a special needs sister named Dana.  She was about 14 years old at the time and very small in stature.  When my mom started her on the food supplements through Shaklee, she very soon started to develop physically.  I am also proud to say as an adult, age 47, Dana is the only one at her adult workshop that does NOT take any prescribed medication.  She is probably healthier than all of us!

So I was a believer in the products from early on.  But, as most of us do, I went on through college and the first part of my working career without any more thought of Shaklee until a dear friend from church invited me to a Shaklee party.  I began taking the supplements and using the cleaning products again.  From that point on, I have been using Shaklee for all my food supplement, personal care and home care needs.  

Some recent events in my life led me to start thinking about my goals and dreams.   I have always wanted to create a group home environment for Dana that would be privately ran.  So whatever happens to me, I know she will be taken care of in a way I, along wtih my family, have set up.   The next step was HOW am I going to generate the income to accomplish this goal.   Well it was a given!  Build a Shaklee business!

My second goal is to be able to help others and what better way to do this than to help them improve their health by using Shaklee food supplements and the Get Clean cleaning products and giving them an opportunity to be financially independent.
